Job Description

Faststream’s exclusive client provides environmental efficient equipment for Commercial Vessels.
Due to continued growth they require an Internal Sales Engineer for their Surrey office.

The Marine Internal Sales team are key to customer satisfaction, providing a first-class customer service. Working closely with the external sales engineers, the internal sales provide proposals, quotes and updates to UK & Ireland customers through the order process.

Your main work activities will be to
*Ensure that all inquiries for separation and heat transfer equipment/services for existing vessels and land based installations (parts, servicing & repairs etc.) are managed effectively and efficiently
*Manage the order process, securing timely delivery and invoicing to the customer.
*Prepare customer proposals & quotes (mainly for upgrades and capital equipment)
*Manage sales contracts
*Coordinate with Service Operations Dept. to secure commissioning services as required

Manage customer claims through our internal claims handling process.

You will have an engineering background, ideally from a similar technical internal role. Experience of the marine industry would be highly advantageous
Your previous experience will have been in an internal sales role, using various internal tools to provide proposals and quotes to customers.
You will have worked in a commercial environment and be comfortable working with commercial terms and conditions as well as managing sales contracts and compliance.
