Second Engineer Officer
You will run and maintain the state-of-the-art onboard machinery and equipment to keep the ship as safe and efficient as possible, as well as taking a leading role in the 24 hour watchkeeping team. Meanwhile, you’ll visit different places, explore new worlds and gain friendships and experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime.

In addition to a strong technical background, you will love problem solving and being hands on. You will be self-motivated and dependable, and always keen to help others whilst wanting to take on more responsibility. You will be a natural communicator, ask questions and share knowledge, easily adapting your style to suit a situation.
Experience on board a cruise ship is desirable, but not essential, as we believe in hiring people with the right attitudes and strengths over their competencies. As well as practical skills we will help you to develop your leadership skills, supervising junior officers, cadets and technicians.

If you are successful in being offered a role you will need to hold a STCW High Voltage Management training certificate. Our teams will be able to support you in arranging training and explaining what’s needed.
