Safer lives, Safer ships, Cleaner seas.

The Maritime & Coastguard Agency aims to be the best maritime safety organisation in the world.  Can you help us realise this vision?

We are looking for a dedicated Ports Liaison Policy Lead to ensure UK ports align with the UK Port Marine Safety Code and associated Guide to Good Practice. You will also maintain oversight of policy relating to port marine safety and act as the national authority for port safety in relation to Offshore Renewable Energy Installations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in promoting the safety of UK ports and to build relationships in the UK ports community.

Successful candidates will have sufficient experience within the maritime industry and will usually come from an Engineering discipline.

Candidates without the above qualifications may also be considered if they can demonstrate an equivalent level of learning.

We want the best. And for the best, we offer full training and support and a competitive package – great career options, flexible working patterns, attractive remuneration and a Civil Service Pension Scheme.

If you can help us make a difference to maritime safety, we’d love to hear from you.  For more information and to apply please click here.
