Deck and Engineering Officers. CLdN. Short Sea Ro-Ro Vessels

Due to fleet expansion, a number of positions for deck and engineering officers of all ranks will become available in the near future within our short sea ro-ro division. Our vessels are mainly operating within NW Europe and are currently working under strict Covid-19 rules to ensure crew safety and operational viability. A one for one leave ratio is being maintained and tour lengths are reviewed regularly, currently 3 months. Normal pre Covid-19 tour lengths for officers varies between 4 and 6 weeks.
Deck Officers. Applications are invited from suitably qualified deck officers and whilst recent ro-ro experience is an asset, be assured that all motivated officers will be considered. Senior officers will be expected to obtain PEC’s for regular ports and undertake all manoeuvring of the vessel including with tugs if required.
Engineer Officers and ETO’s will find a mix of both medium speed and on our latest generation vessels, a single slow speed electronic main engine.
Engineering officers with LNG experience are also required to supplement in house officers on new build LNG powered vessels, scheduled to start delivery from Q 3. However depending on experience, some officers are required to assist with the new builds, pre-delivery and would be expected to attend the building yard in South Korea.
For LNG Engineering officers, the following is required as a pre-requisite to joining us.
- 2S Main Engine (ME-Electronic Engine) training/ experience
- LNG experience
- High Voltage Training
- Basic/ Advance IGF Code Training
