UNIQUE NAUTICAL OPPORTUNITY – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The Professional Yachting Association (PYA) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly
motivated individual for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Association is
highly regarded across the yachting community internationally and provides for
representation, membership, career advice, verification of sea service and welfare across

to serve our membership and drive the profile and mission of the Association.
The PYA is a French non-profit association which was founded in 1991, and exists
primarily to represent the interests of professional yacht crew around the world. Now

As CEO, you will lead, manage, develop and support a small but enthusiastic team
committed to delivering a proactive and engaging service to stakeholders and members
across the yachting community and promoting the voice of the PYA for the benefit of all.
The CEO is to provide strong leadership with the aim of providing a cost effective,
financially viable and timely organisational service to PYA members, its partners and

strategic plan. You will be accountable for ensuring outstanding standards of delivery,
audit and effective budgetary management and lead on communication both internally
You will have a leadership qualification and experience of management. You will have an
unwavering commitment to providing professional, high-quality services. You will be
able to quickly adapt to and support the yachting culture, acting as a champion for our
values and associated initiatives.
Initially a part-time position, developing into full-time in the future, a minimum salary
package of full time equivalent of 45K p.a. Euros gross or more, depending on experience
and 30 days holiday a per year.
