*Experience of successful sales into the Northern Europe
*Proactive approach to developing the market (i.e. they need to be happy to make their own appointments from cold)
*Solution sales/ technical sales/software sales
*Ideally Maritime or engineering experience but minimum of strong maritime interest even if only sailing etc.
*Passion for full cycle new business selling at senior level


Role itself:
*Sales Cycle is typically 1-6 months so need to be experienced in similar sales cycle management
*Initial Deal size: €60,000 - €400,000 +
*Territory is: Northern Europe
*Sectors Tanker, LNG, Ferry, Ro/RO, Bulk
*Typical engagement- CEO, FD, Tech Dir, Fleet Dir
*This is not a typical Shipping sales role in that what my client sell is not mandatory or essential;
*Full pre-sales to assist the sales lead with detailed technical discussions etc.
*Marketing department on hand to assist and take direction from sales for organising events, campaigns etc.


Technology:
Business and Operational Intelligence solutions to save large shipping companies money, typical payback is under 12 months
Market leader in sector

Where they will be based etc:
Can be home based anywhere in Northern Europe, with Regular travel 50%-60% of the time

Package:
Salary subject to experience + double OTE but no cap
Company Laptop, Ipad, iphone


Must have the right to live and work in Europe
