The Company

I am currently working with a leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Ship Manager to work in the companies Head Office.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Ship Superintendent / Marine Engineer to take the next step in their career.

As Ship Manager you will enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day vessel operations of the ships under your demarcation, ensuring that vessels are managed in line with company procedures, as well as in line with external regulations.

Key responsibilities of the role include planning dry dockings, conducting vessel visits, ensuring vessels remain in a good state of repair, managing ship budgets and ensuring that vessels adhere to class and flag requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture
-10 years seagoing experience / experience working as Ship Superintendent OR Port Engineer
-Minimum of 10 years Maritime experience
- Significant management/leadership skills
- Strong organisation, delegation and interpersonal skills
- Cruise ship experience would be an advantage
- Fluent English language skills
