Faststream's client is a leading technology company for shipyard independent high-performance rudder systems and propulsion improving methods for ships.
Due to continued growth they require a Sales Manager to be based in their Hamburg office.

Your Duties:
*International sales of products in the shipbuilding market segment
*Active acquisition of new customers
*Development and enhancement of our current customer relations
*Processing customers' inquiries and following up with projects until conclusion of contract
*Contract negotiation and order completion with the customers
*Attend trade fairs and conventions
*Compile market and competition analysis
*Product presentations and development of technical solutions for the customers
*Teamwork through the agreement and enforcement of marketing strategies in our sales regions

Your Profile:
*You have successfully finished academic studies in mechanical engineering, naval architecture, industrial engineering or in a similar field or have many years of relevant work experience
*You have numerous years of experience in sales of maritime capital goods and have already accumulated available success in the implementation of challenging customer projects
*Through your numerous years of experience you ideally have a very good network of contacts in the maritime branch
*Your strong market and customer orientation compliment you through conduct of negotiations on an international level in dealing with variable groups of people
*You are self-organized and can work independently goal oriented. And yet you are communicative and assertive
*As part of the sales team you possess a strong team orientation
*Prerequisites are a willingness to travel, team spirit, flexibility, very good presentation skills as well as being business fluent in German and English
