The role…

*As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for performing and supervising service activities such as refurbishment, upgrades, preventive maintenance and corrective actions on the company equipment.
*Your key accountabilities will include inspecting, troubleshooting, reporting, planning and conducting service or repair as necessary either alone or by leading a team
*Ensure adequate records and documentation are maintained in line with agreed standards.

*The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Engineering or/and experience on ships & their marine equipment, either by having experience as a marine engineer or having an experience from a marine repair company.
*In addition to good mechanical engineering skills, you should have practical understanding on hydraulics. Competencies in electrics will be strongly beneficial.
*You must be able to work independently and as part of a greater team.
*The position requires frequent traveling mainly within the United Kingdom, although international travel may be required.
*Travel may be required at short notice, including over weekends and public holidays.
*A valid driver's license and passport for UK and European travel is necessary.
*You must have good customer service skills including possessing a solid reputation for follow up and handling customer requests and complaints.
*You should also be able to communicate effectively in English, be customer oriented, analytical, and be able to work independently as well as in a cross functional team.
