Faststream's client is a leading supplier of propulsion systems for Naval and Coastguard vessels and is looking for a strong candidate to join the naval sales team for the promotion of engine, propulsion and energy solutions to this market.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Grow Naval Business through Customer interaction
*Leading and managing the project team(s) to win business
*Developed sales and customer strategies with the shipyards, Navies and Coastguards on a Global basis
*Turnover and profit margins responsibility
*Team development and development discussions
*Building and organising strategies with local Ship Power Networks and GMs
*Commercial / legal policies when negotiating contracts
*Developed and maintained relationship with key Navies, Coastguards & Shipyards accounts

QUALIFICATION
*BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent
*Excellent communications, team working and collaboration skills
*Strategic planning and Target setting
*Strong management and Change skills
*Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
*Technical & Commercial knowledge about the Navy & Commercial industry
*Solid skills in written and spoken business English
*Willingness to travel worldwide outside of normal working hours
*Experience in different global & country business cultures
*Previous sales experience in Naval propulsion systems is preferred

Strong track record possessing mechanical / technical and commercial skills with 10 years successful sales in marine industry is a must.

The position can be based in any key hub across Europe.
