My client is experiencing good business growth and increasing demand for their products and services. Their office in Germany - Hamburg is seeking highly motivated and well-qualified candidates to join the team as Junior Project Consultant.


The role…

To conduct software users training. At the same time, he/she shall assist domain consultant or involve in project deliveries related to Planned Maintenance and Safety modules with the focus on:

-Documenting customer operation processes with the company system.
-Assist in project workshop deliverables.
-Assist and provides functional training to customer.
-Involve in data building/migration.
-Involve in project support during project implementation life cycle.
-Provide Pre-sales support to the sales team.

The person…

-Degree in Marine Nautical science and/or Marine Engineering.
-Minimum 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in marine as a seafarer and/or equivalent within maritime software or experience in maritime industry, preferably as Navigation Officer, Deck Officer, 1st/ 2nd Class Marine Engineer or Safety Superintendent.
-Experience in managing and roll out PMS or Safety related systems (e.g. AMOS, ShipNet and etc) within maritime operations is an advantage.
-Experience in project management, demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/assignments including work prioritization, resource coordination and planning.
-Strong appreciation of effective Business Processes Management using software solutions in maritime operations.
-Good communication and presentation skills in English, written and verbally.
-Meticulous and analytical in terms of customer needs towards product and market orientation.
-Practical and / or Technical knowledge of maritime software is an added advantage.
-A team player with the ability to influence customers and gain respect with knowledge, passion and strong execution capabilities.
-High energy, self-starter, results oriented and possess strong ownership for projects.
-Possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate and manage relationship at all levels of the organization and the customers.
-Proven customer relationship skills, strong customers focus, demonstrates excellent communication skills and is adept at customer management with at least 1 - 2 years' experience in customer service or system support field.
-Hands on knowledge with database knowledge (MS Access or MS SQL Server) are added advantages.
-Ability to travel extensively globally within short notice.
