Our client has been established in the Maritime Industry for almost 30 years with personnel that have first-hand experience working on board ships and in the offices. The result is a company specializing in the offering of Fleet Management software and services.

They operate in the markets of Shipping, Oil & Gas, Defense and Energy production. Their software allows operation and control of all technical and documentation aspects in the fields of maintenance, spare parts and stock control, purchasing and procurement, quality and safety documentation management, voyage management (for shipping) and personnel management.
The Position

They are currently seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Cyprus. The Account Manager is responsible for selling the companies software and services into a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities include:
*Achieve the financial and operational targets set for his/her territory.
*Define, own and implement a sales strategy plan for each account. Leverage all departments eg, marketing, support and consulting to aid growth and promote our clients strategic value to the customer.
*Establish strong long term relationships with C level stakeholders and promote the interests of our client. Maintain a deep knowledge of the customers' business, future priorities and business goals. Also act as the customers advocate within our client's organisation.
*Initiate and drive sales campaigns to facilitate revenue growth in their territory or vertical market.
*When consultancy is required, AM must engage the Operations BU in order to obtain the necessary technical advice or specifications, including the estimated time and internal costs of quotations.
*Own and manage the commercial terms between the customer and our client.
*Work closely with Operations and Customer Support in assisting with resolution of any issues or specific needs affecting his/her accounts.
*The position involves travel and the candidate will be required to have an E.U. Member State Passport and valid E.U. driving license.

Relevant Experience/Skills:
*Software Sales in Maritime sector
*Demonstrable track record in winning projects >$250,000
*Track record in achieving year on year growth within accounts through up and cross selling initiatives
*Capability to develop an excellent knowledge of our clients products
*Deep knowledge of the Maritime and O&G rules and regulations
*Good knowledge of IT industry standards, and general trends in the hardware and software industry
*Fluency in language(s) spoken in his/her territory is an advantage.
